Final Resting Place
The final resting place is the mulch that they are composed into after their death. This final resting place to the right is the combination of all five of the groups we have in society. What's ironic is that the five social standings each person held while they were living no longer matters once they become mulch.

Being a Beta, Lenina Crowne was a vaccination worker at the Central London Hatchery and Conditioning Centre. Nikolai Lenin was whom she was named after. Nikolai was a Russian Revolutionary leader who had his way with people since he was such a powerful demagogue. Lenina Crowne was also powerful with her looks, having her way with many of the men of her time.
Bernard Marx -
Bernard Marx was an Alpha male who failed to fit in because of his inferior physical status, which made him disconnect with the World State. His surname was Karl Marx, who is best known to be one of the greatest German authors who wrote about capitalism. Capitalism has to do with economic systems, which is ironic because Bernard had a problem with fitting into the economic system because he was found queer.
Linda -
Linda was a Beta before she became the mother of John (the savage). While visitng the New Mexico Savage Reservation, she became pregnant with the Director’s son. She suffered from a head injury and since the Director could not find her, he left her behind. Abortions aren't available on the Reservation and returning to the World State would've only caused her embarassment, so she stayed and had John. Years later, she was found by Bernard Marx and was able to return to civilization. However, her appearance and condition made her unliked by almost everyone. The name Linda means "pretty one", which is ironic seeing how her appearance was anything but. Linda left the world peacefully after over-dosing on Soma.
John (The Savage) -
John was the son of the Director and Linda. He was born and grown in New Mexico, where he never could fit in. Being the outsider he was, he loved literature learned to read, and believed strongly in the one named "God". When he was brought to the World State, he was unable to fit in as well. After Linda (his mother) passed he created a strange behavior. The name John refers to John the Baptist. John the Baptist was a man from the Bible who was the forerunner of Jesus Christ. His message to the people was to repent because the Kingdom of heaven was at hand. John the Savage was known for repenting in the World State to find his connection with God.
Benito Hoover -
Benito was an Alpha who fit well in the World State. He followed all the rules and enjoyed his life. The surname of Benito Hoover came from two different people. Bentio established from Benito Musolini, who was an Italian dictator (was very rich). Hoover came from the former president, Herbert Hoover.
